Mount Qingcheng is one of the most ancient and celebrated Taoist mountains in China, located in the outskirts of Chengdu, Sichuan. It offers a unique blend of cultural heritage and natural beauty, divided into two main sections: the Front Mountain, which is rich in historical and cultural sites, and the Back Mountain, known for its natural scenery.
Front Mount Qingcheng

Cost: Entry fee for the Front Mountain is about 90 RMB, with additional costs for shuttle services and cable cars if chosen.
Back Mount Qingcheng
Highlights: The Back Mountain is less developed and offers more natural landscapes, making it a favorite for hiking enthusiasts and those seeking tranquility away from the tourist crowds.
Activities: This part of the mountain provides a more rugged terrain ideal for hiking, with trails leading to waterfalls, secluded temples, and panoramic views of the surrounding mountains.
Transportation: Reachable by the same route as the Front Mountain but requires additional travel within the park to reach the starting points of the trails.
