Day 1: Full Day at Qingcheng Mountain
Full Day: Explore Qingcheng Mountain
Time: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Activities: Spend the entire day at Qingcheng Mountain, one of the most famous Taoist mountains in China. You can choose between exploring the front mountain for a more cultural and historical experience with numerous Taoist temples or hiking the back mountain for more natural scenery.
Transportation: Take a high-speed train from Chengdu to Qingchengshan station, then a short taxi or local bus ride to the mountain's entrance.
Cost: Entry fee for the mountain is about 90 RMB, with an additional 15 RMB for the shuttle bus that takes you through the scenic area. If you choose to use the cable car, it costs around 60 RMB one way.
Meals: Lunch on Qingcheng Mountain
Time: Around 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM
Activities: Enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants or teahouses on the mountain. Many of these places offer vegetarian options, reflecting the Taoist influence.
